Privacy policy
What we collect, what we do not, and who else is involved.
Thump & Tote does not require an account, does not run a newsletter, and does not sell or share personal information. We use Google Analytics to understand which pages are read, and our affiliate links pass a referral identifier to Amazon so purchases can be attributed. That is the whole of it.

What we collect
Information you give us
Only what you type into the contact form: your name, email address, an optional subject line, and your message. We use it to reply to you and for nothing else. It is not added to a mailing list, because we do not have one.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, we use analytics to understand which pages people read and how they arrive. This is aggregate and behavioral rather than personally identifying:
- Pages viewed and the order they were viewed in
- Approximate location, derived from IP address at country or region level
- Device type, browser and operating system
- The referring site or search engine, where the browser supplies it
- Clicks on outbound buy links, so we can tell which recommendations are useful
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent personal information. To anyone, ever.
- We do not require accounts, so there are no passwords or profiles here.
- We do not run a newsletter, so your email is never added to a list.
- We do not run third-party display advertising, so there are no ad-network trackers on these pages.
- We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Doing so will not affect your ability to read anything here — the site does not depend on them.
Affiliate links
Our buy buttons route through a redirect on our own domain and then to Amazon, carrying a referral identifier. Amazon sets its own cookies at that point, under Amazon's privacy policy rather than ours, and we receive only aggregate reporting — we can see that a sale happened, not who made it. Third-party services
- Google Analytics — traffic measurement. Google's own privacy policy governs the data it processes.
- Vercel — hosting. Standard server logs, retained for operational purposes.
- Microsoft Graph — used to deliver contact-form messages to our inbox.
- Amazon — after you click an outbound link, you are on Amazon's site under their terms.
How long we keep things
- Contact-form messages — kept as email for as long as the conversation is useful, then deleted.
- Analytics data — retained according to the Google Analytics retention setting, which is a rolling window rather than indefinite.
- Server logs — retained by our host for a short operational period.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, or to object to its processing. Since we hold very little — essentially just contact-form emails — these requests are usually simple to action.
To make a request, write to contact@thumpandtote.com and we will respond within a reasonable period. You can opt out of Google Analytics across all sites using Google's opt-out browser add-on, and you can use your browser's Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control setting, which our analytics configuration respects where the browser signals it.
Security
This site is served over HTTPS, and contact-form submissions are transmitted encrypted. No system is perfectly secure, but since we do not store accounts, passwords or payment details, there is very little here to lose.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially, the date at the top of this page will be updated. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the revised policy.
